Contemporary American Theater Festival
The CATF Mission:
The Contemporary American Theater Festival is dedicated to producing
and developing new American theater.
Asian American Theater Company (AATC)
was founded in 1973 as a playwrights'
workshop by Chinese American playwright Frank Chin and sponsored by
the American Conservatory Theater. In 1975, the workshop became a
professional theater company dedicated to the production of plays by
Asian Pacific Islander American dramatists and the development and
support of Asian Pacific Islander American actors, designers and
technicians
